Police clocked an Aston Martin driver speeding at 101mph down Heartlands Parkway, Birmingham this evening.
Officers from West Midlands Police Traffic caught up with the driver and arrested him on suspicion of dangerous driving after they recorded him driving at 150% of the speed limit in a busy section of the city network
Eagle-eyed Operation Hercules road police officers clocked the driver of the iconic luxury vehicle immortalised in the Bond franchise and duly reminded him of the dual carriageway speed limit before arresting him.
As a warning to drivers tempted to play fast and loose with speed limits WMP Traffic took to twitter to explain that driver faces court.
They tweeted: “#OpHercules officers have just stopped this Aston Martin on Heartlands Parkway, Birmingham. At more than 150% of the speed limit court awaits! #Fatal4 #SpeedKills”
