Porsche Centre Kendal is excited be partnering with the Gilpin Hotel & Lakes House to extend the Porsche Destination Charging network to the Lake District with the addition of five Porsche Chargers.

The Gilpin Hotel & Lake House is a perfect partner for the network with a 21-acre site which has 28 bedrooms, 2 restaurants (the Michelin starred HRiSHi and the casual pan-Asian Gilpin Spice), a Champagne Bar, lounge, terraces and a croquet lawn.

It also encapsulates six Garden Suites which have their own cedarwood hot tubs, five Spa Lodges which have their own en-suite spa and three even bigger Spa Suites which include a personal Porsche Destination Charger each.

The Gilpin Lake House (a mile away on a separate estate) offers six rooms that exclusively enjoy 100 acres of grounds with a fascinating history as a centre of the spice trade. You can also take advantage of two Porsche Destination Chargers located in the main Hotel carpark.

News and Star:

The Michelin starred HRiSHi restaurant, Hrishikesh Desai combines great Lake District produce and classic methods to deliver unbelievable textures and flavours – modern British cuisine with a twist. The laid-back Gilpin Spice is an open kitchen serving tapas-style pan-Asian dishes inspired by countries along the spice trail – the Philippines, the Indian sub-continent, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and China.

The first of many planned Porsche Destination Chargers at Lake District hotels, these chargers will provide free charging for all Porsche owners, making the Lake District the perfect location for electric and plug-in-hybrid Porsche customers. While visiting the Lakes, from the summer of 2021, you can also visit our new Centre. We are relocating Porsche Centre Kendal to J35 of the M6 near Carnforth and rebranding as Porsche Centre South Lakes. We will be the perfect destination for all your Porsche needs while visiting the amazing Lake District National Park and beyond.
