Former NFL star Thomas Davis Sr. had his expensive sports car stolen and subsequently crashed on Tuesday. The incident was caught on surveillance video but it was difficult to identify the two suspects.

Until now.

Police officers in Union County, North Carolina said they’ve already ID’d the two culprits. And as it turns out, they’re just teenagers! One is 17 while the other is 15. They broke into Davis’ home and stole his McLaren 720S before crashing it into their getaway car. They also stole a pair of firearms.

Based on a report by TMZ, law authorities said the two minors, who will be taken into custody soon, will face juvenile sanctions.

“(We’ll be) charging them with burglary, two counts of larceny of a firearm, five counts of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and one count of motor vehicle theft.”

Davis retired last year after having a short stint with the Washington Football Team. Prior to that, he played for the Carolina Panthers and the Los Angeles Chargers.

The 38-year-old linebacker, a two-time All-Pro member, already said he’s “all good” despite the incident, pointing out that the most important thing is his family wasn’t hurt. But as much as he won’t admit it, it’s safe to assume it hurts to see his luxury car get wrecked.

Davis did offer a reward to anyone who could identify the two suspects.

“If any of you recognize either one of these idiots that decided it was a good idea to come into my home and go through all of my cars and even steal and wreck my McLaren. I’m offering a cash reward for anyone that can help identify who these guys are!”

Well then, maybe Thomas Davis Sr. should give the reward to police officers. Case closed!
